CENTRAL OREGON SALES STATISTICS
We've decided that rather than try to characterize what the
real estate market did in Sunriver, Bend, and Southern
Deschutes County, we would just provide you the sales
statistics.
In General, the units sold were way off in 2006 vs. 2005 and
in most areas average and median prices increased. Conventional
wisdom would suggest that the price correction is lagging and
will stabilize in 2007.
For the second year in a row; sales volume in La
Pine and Three
Rivers exceeded sales in Sunriver
as the south county market continues to grow as a bedroom
community to Bend
and an alternative market to Sunriver. I expect this trend to
strengthen in the coming years as more resort property becomes
available and La Pine becomes a City.
2007 looks to be a good year for Sellers to move up in the
marketand have a good selection of property to choose from for
the second leg of their move. Feel free to contact our Broker
team to discuss any objectives you are considering for 2007 and
beyond. As always, our goal is to provideyou with useable and
timely information to assist you with your real estate goals.
